Prior to joining PCTEL, Mr. Giacobazzi held senior positions at Andrew Corporation, Motorola, and Comsat RSI. PCTEL recently acquired Sigma Wireless Technologies, a leader in the design and development of remotely-controlled, tiltable antennas for UMTS networks. The acquisition, which was completed in early July, was PCTEL's fifth acquisition in three years. In addition to Sigma Wireless Technologies, PCTEL acquired CyberPixie (2002), Dynamic Telecommunications (2003), Maxrad (2004) and several product lines from Andrew Corporation (2004). The company has grown from less than $1 million in quarterly wireless revenues to just over $18 million last quarter.
