The University at Albany men's basketball team just keeps getting thinner.

UAlbany head coach Will Brown said Monday that 6-foot-8 junior forward Janis Pipikis is out indefinitely after cracking a bone in his left index finger in Saturday's 90-55 loss to Notre Dame.

Brown said Pipikis is wearing a splint and will miss UAlbany's next game against Army at West Point on Monday. He will have the finger reevaluated next week.

Pipikis hasn't been a factor, averaging only 0.7 points and 3.0 rebounds in 11.0 minutes per game. But his absence strips UAlbany of its only frontcourt depth, except for 6-9 freshman …
