Vic: Results delayed from investigation into sheep contamination

The findings from an investigation into the contamination of a Victorian sheep feed
lot has been put back until tomorrow.

The export of the 70,000 live sheep has been stalled as authorities investigate the
contamination of their feed by Animal Liberation at a feedlot at Portland, in Victoria's
south-west, last month.

Animal Liberation activists said they wanted to make the sheep unacceptable to Muslim
markets in the Middle East.

A Victorian Department of Primary Industries spokesman says the results from the investigation
will be announced tomorrow.

He says authorities had hoped to release results today, but the testing process has
taken longer than expected.
